Gurudeva Weekly Calendar

This little desk calendar was produced by the mathavasis of Kauai Aadheenam. It contains daily quotations by Satguru Sivaya Subramuniyaswami, affectionately known as Gurudeva. Each week has seven days of quotes on the right hand page with one of our favorite pictures of Gurudeva on the left hand page. The calendar is designed to be used year after year. Spiral bound, it can be stood upright or laid out flat on a desk or table. Most of the photos are color with a few exceptional black and white.

"Yesterday I received a most wonderful Pancha Ganapati gift—A "Gurudeva Weekly Calendar." It is similar to one I received last year at this time, and I had hoped and prayed that I would receive a similar gift this year and my prayers were answered. You see, when I received the calendar last year, I meditated about what Gurudeva would want me to do with such a gift. It came to me that the calendar represented an opportunity to fulfil each day’s promise. Every day this past year I started the day in my shrine room and reflected on the single most important thing I could accomplish that day. I recorded it in the calendar. Each evening I sat in my shrine room and reflected on whether I had accomplished my goal for that day. On every occasion, I found that I had! I can now look back on almost 365 days of realizing my single most important goal for the day. It has been a truly wonderful gift, and I would just like to deeply thank the monks of Kauai Aadheenam for a gift that has given me a year of one positive step after another."
